How to say thank you in other languages. There’s a way to say thank you in virtually all countries. Isn’t it nice to know everyone is so polite?
Have you ever wondered how to say thank you in other languages, like Chinese? Or maybe you know how to say it in Spanish but do you know how to spell it? Well you’re in luck because here you’ll find thank you’s for exactly 116 languages, in addition to English.
Maybe you don’t have occasion to say “kam sah hamnida” in everyday conversation but it could be a nice touch in a thank you note. For example, say you’re thanking a business associate from Japan for his time. You might not want to try translating your entire letter into Japanese, but you could always add “arigatô” at the end. Just don’t get that mixed up with “obrigado” unless your business associate also speaks Portuguese.
